Distribution Planning Manager - Personal Care

Your Tasks

Supply Planning End to End:

  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and representative for supply planning in NDF countries.
  • Review demand and convert it into the Net Demand Forecast (NDF), then upload it to the system
  • Ensure demand completion, including launch/re-launch products, in the system and support the team with corrections.
  • Monitor and ensure all outstanding orders are delivered as confirmed and according to delivery rules.
  • Provide necessary information and coordinate with other functions to ensure smooth production, planning, quality, and logistics to meet customer requirements.
  • Respond promptly to any issues and decide on actions to address delays or problems affecting delivery, quantity, and quality.
  • Manage the product replenishment process, determining what, how much, and when to order for the respective assortment.
  • Manage Purchase Orders (PO), including creation, adjustment, and closure.

Inventory and Leftover Management:

  • Provide DIH visibility projections ensuring the monthly incoming plan aligns with business objectives and DIH KPIs.
  • Review inventory levels and product shelf life, supporting the team with any pending actions.
  • Support the business in minimizing leftovers and maintaining them at a minimum level.
  • Report low stock, long-term supply risks, and potential Out of Stock (OOS) situations with supporting reasons weekly.
  • Monitor excess stock, aging, and obsolete stock, and create reports for discussions with the local demand planner to develop action plans to minimize write-offs.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure an accurate view of material requirements to support consumer needs by balancing Service, Inventory, and Waste.
  • Establish the most efficient reorder process, considering supply lead times, vendor constraints, and transportation.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Keep the business fully informed of all relevant supply topics and ensure agreed levels of product availability.
  • Build effective relationships with local demand planners, NIPs, and 3PM teams through regular reviews and visits to support product availability targets and stock coverage goals.
  • Communicate concisely and timely with Supply Chain colleagues, including planners from serviced MUs.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully, being aware of cultural differences.
  • Execute existing processes and systems to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
  • Actively participate in the development of new or existing planning processes and systems.
  • Develop effective, sustainable, and beneficial relationships with key Supply Chain colleagues in the COE team to improve planning performance.

Your Profile

  • University degree (Minimum M.Sc. or Similar) in Economics/Mathematics/Engineering or equal
  • 3-5years of relevant work experience in supply planning (having production planning knowledge would is a plus)
  • Proven strengths in teamplay within a diverse setting of cultures
  • Result-oriented combined with assertiveness & Persuasiveness
  • Strong skills in relationship building, communication and moderation.
  • Proven analytical and end to end thinking including commercial thinking
  • Advance Microsoft Excel is preferable
  • Fluent in English for communication skills spoken
