In 2023, Beiersdorf has implemented its first ever global volunteering day: CARE BEYOND SKIN Day! 

Behind this name is an initiative that derives from the Beiersdorf Sustainability Agenda CARE BEYOND SKIN, which aims to promote Beiersdorf’s social and environmental commitment to foster a more inclusive society and create positive environmental impact. All Beiersdorf employees worldwide have the possibility to devote one workday supporting various social and environmental projects run by local charitable organizations. 

Volunteering activities in 2023 took a variety of forms, such as helping at a soup kitchen, organizing a cleanup, renovating non-profits’ premises and many more. Regardless of the activity, our volunteers had the opportunity to have a direct and positive impact on the lives of those in need and spread joy along the way.

By offering our time, skills and resources we aim to live up to our purpose to CARE BEYOND SKIN and celebrate the power of collective action as one global team.

 

It’s the first time ever we are having a global volunteering day and it surpassed all expectations igniting a global movement at Beiersdorf. With the collective efforts of our dedicated employees, partners and communities, we have not only touched lives but have reaffirmed our commitment to creating a positive social and environmental impact. Our purpose has transformed into actions and our company’s core values have manifested real change. This initiative is a testament to the fact that when we unite behind a shared mission, we can truly make a difference – and this is just the beginning of our journey.
