Global Master Data Project Manager (all genders)

Your Tasks

As our Global Master Data Project Manager , you will oversee the development and implementation of finance master data management projects within the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that finance master data projects are delivered on time, within budget and with an agile and entrepreneurial mindset.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for finance master data management projects.
  • Ensure that project deliverables are achieved in time and within agreed budget.
  • Coordinate projects activities across cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, IT, and business stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Identify and mitigate projects issues to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices for SAP S/4 MDM, such as GPDR, SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
  • Producing reports and dashboards regarding the status of the Projects in terms of milestone achievements, schedule, benefits, risks & issues.
  • Communicate project status, risk and issues to Master Data Head, other stakeholders and project sponsors on a regular basis.
  • Develop and champion Agile methodology processes, use data to track delivery, bring transparency, value, and leverage best practice approaches to ensure industry standards are met.
  • Accountable for accurate and timely planning and monitoring of project progress in order to keep stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide leadership and technical direction to support the technology and business/operation strategy, focusing as well on E2E Processes (e.g., from Suppliers up to Consumers).
  • Ideate, lead, coordinate and/or oversee projects both at global and local scale. Provide end-to-end project management for high-scale initiatives and mentor key stakeholders in smaller projects.
  • Developing and delivering training and change management programs to ensure effective adoption and use of MDG and any other initiatives by end-users.
  • Supporting post-implementation activities, such as monitoring system performance, addressing user feedback, and identifying opportunities for further optimization and innovation.

Your Profile

  • University degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
  • Experience in project management and SAP MDG with a focus on finance master data management.
  • Project management and Change management qualification or proven track record of successfully delivering added value to complex projects.
  • A good understanding of R2R, P2P, O2C processes.
  • Experience in leading international projects.
  • Strong analytical skills, results-oriented, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Agile and Entrepreneurial mindset (ownership, drive & speed, customer focus, and E2E solution design).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, another foreign language desirable.
