Demand & Supply Planner ME

Role Purpose

The role of the Demand & Supply Planner is to develop and facilitate the consensus forecast for the assigned brand on SPGR level aiming to balance between the relevant KPIs [Service Level, Forecast Accuracy, Bias & Inventory Value].

Main Accountabilities

Demand & Supply Planning (of the category assigned)

  • Forecasting demand by analyzing sales data and market trends.
  • Managing optimum inventory levels to prevent any OOS or excess inventory.
  • Coordinating with PC/3PM/Hub Supply planners for on time and in full NPDs and Relaunches.
  • Provide visibility for stock availability across all skus at M+6 level.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Identifying potential risks to the supply chain, such as supplier disruptions, transportation delays, or fluctuations in demand, and taking proactive measures to mitigate Service level risks.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting- Generating regular reports to track key metrics and communicate performance to stakeholders.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and production to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with business goals.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on supply chain status and resolve any issues.
  • Analyze supply and demand issues and facilitate resolution throughout the supply chain.
  • Leading and delivering forecast cycles for business planning.

Reporting

  • Report stock availability and forecast adherence at rolling +6M by sku and month.
  • Reporting for inventory stock coverage and freshness of stocks.
  • Reporting and escalation of SLOB stocks.

Others

  • Any other analysis, tasks and duties, which are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by the line manager.
