Marketing Manager - NIVEA Skincare

Are you a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager that will contribute to making the Nivea brand flourish and grow? This position is based in Montreal and has a national scope, it reports to the Marketing Director and manages a team of passionate Nivea Brand Managers. We are a global brand with top market share positions and appreciate the challenge of having a localised marketing approach.

 

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, consumer engagement, and revenue growth across various channels. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of skincare products, consumer behavior, and digital marketing trends.

Your Tasks

If you are looking to…

  • Develop NIVEA brand strategy & support SBM/BM in building category plans including: new product launches, advertising, consumer promotion, packaging & pricing that lead to the achievement of business goals and objectives
  • Be responsible for building and driving success across category platforms & special projects including, social media, influencers & CRM
  • Lead & develop the Annual Planning Process across a complex portfolio which includes financial & business analysis, consumer planning, leading agency partners and P&L development including sales and profit objectives; ensure brand budgets including advertising & promotional expenditures are accurate and appropriate
  • Drive growth initiatives, profit opportunities and required actions through taking lead role in developing and analyzing facts and trends of the product category, competitive products, and consumer usage & attitudes with market research, sales, global brand team and agencies
  • Build a high performing and engaged team to ensure a future fit organisation, through coaching and development opportunities. Actively build and foster relationship with EUNA and Innovations teams

Your Profile

  • University business degree with 5-10 years of CPG marketing experience
  • Strategic Marketing Expertise : Proven success in developing and executing marketing campaigns in the CPG or skincare industry, with strong knowledge of branding, product positioning, and digital/social marketing
  • Adaptability & Industry Knowledge : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving market while embracing new trends and technologies
  • Communication & Presentation Skills : Exceptional written and verbal skills (bilingual), with the ability to craft persuasive messages and deliver impactful presentations
  • Analytical & Financial Acumen : Strong analytical thinking and financial skills, with a focus on results and problem-solving
  • Leadership & Collaboration : Ability to lead teams, motivate cross-functional groups, and build strong business relationships
