Your Tasks
From day one, you will have the exciting opportunity to get involved in activities of both Headquarters and Group Controlling - two exposed teams in a global network between Regions, Business and Corporate Finance. The internship is based at the Headquarters in Hamburg, Germany.
Main tasks:
- Provide condensed financial reports directly to Top Management for steering the Group on monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis (e.g. P&L, Net Sales, Pricing, General Expenses, Staff).
- Support the planning activities during forecasts and help executing the plan of Headquarters through steering the resources and monitoring of General Expenses / R&D development.
- Shape the future operations and decision-making of the company by being involved in cross functional projects (that includes projects, where you will be responsible for the final execution).
- Analyze and identify critical business developments with their risks and opportunities and initiate measures to increase efficiency / profitability.
- Drive the continuous optimization of finance processes and performance management.
- Tackle ad-hoc topics through analysis and support decision-making.
- Develop your systems affinity through practical application in e.g. SAP and BI/Power BI.
Your Profile
- At least 2 years of Studies in Economics, International Management or similar with grades above average
- Available for 6 months. Properly enrolled during the entire internship or in Gap Year between Bachelor's degree and preparation for Master's degree.
- Pro-active working attitude to takeover wider responsibilities, proofed in earlier internships. After graduation we recruit candidates from the pool of Interns who demonstrated their drive and performance.
- Analytical competence, solution-oriented and pragmatic.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Excellent communication skills, fun in working as team player, enthusiastic in developing own ideas, International Mindset.
- Fluent English, German optional
- Good experience in MS Office (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint)
YOUR SALARY
Curious about your salary? Your work at Beiersdorf will be fairly remunerated, both with a voluntary internship and with a compulsory internship you earn 2.025 € per month. For a working student activity, our salary is 19,39€ per hour.Additional information
