WLAN & Radius Network Engineer

Your Tasks

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Network Engineer who has expertise in implementing and managing Cisco WLAN, Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Network Access Control (NAC) solutions for enterprise-level organizations. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network authentication and authorization solutions using TACACS+, RADIUS, 802.1X, MAB, and Cisco ISE technologies, while also configuring and troubleshooting switching protocols to ensure optimal network performance and stability on core network components.

  • Serve as an Expert and lead the change, planning and implementation process for our activities with regards to planned maintenance activities for our core wireless components with a focus on our AAA Policy Set
  • Design, implement and maintain secure network authentication and authorization solutions using TACACS+, RADIUS, 802.1X, MAB, and other Cisco ISE technologies
  • Configure and manage WLAN controllers, access points, and related network infrastructure devices
  • Configure and manage network access control policies and network device profiles in Cisco ISE and NAC solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network authentication and authorization issues related to TACACS+, RADIUS, 802.1X, MAB, and Cisco ISE
  • Monitor and troubleshoot WLAN performance issues, analysing network traffic patterns and implementing appropriate solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, configuration guides, and operating procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in network authentication and authorization technologies and apply them to enhance our network security posture

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational routine 2nd level support on Cisco switching products specifically on Catalyst series.
  • Proven working experience in AAA services (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) using different methods like certificate-based authentication
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing WLAN, , NAC and Cisco ISE solutions in enterprise-level environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of network standards including RADIUS, TACACS+, 802.1X(EAP-TLS), MAB & 802.11
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to identify and resolve complex network issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Very good English skills (oral, written)
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security is a plus
  • Experience with network automation (Ansible, DevOps) is a plus
