Your Tasks

We are currently seeking a highly skilled SAP FI Consultant (m/f/d) with a specialized focus on legal reporting, including DRC reporting (e.g. SAF-T implementations) and Asset Accounting, to join our dynamic and experienced team. We operate on S/4HANA, have a global set up, one global system, one client and work in an international team.


You will take responsibility for the implementation and further development of the SAP modules especially in the area of FI-GL.  You will work closely with the specialist departments to identify their requirements for the finance system and implement suitable solutions. You will be responsible for the professional and technical support of our internal customers.

Your activities and key responsibilities:

  • Legal Reporting : Lead the implementation and maintenance of legal reporting solutions, particularly DRC (e.g. SAF-T) reporting.
  • Technical Integration: Collaborate with CPI and BTP experts to ensure seamless integration with authorities and compliance with regulatory requirements. Apply SAP notes as required to maintain system compliance and performance. Utilize BADIs and user exits to develop functional specifications tailored to business needs in cooperation with SAP development team.
  • Asset Accounting: Provide expert knowledge and management in the area of Asset Accounting. Lead the implementation and configuration and provide ongoing support and maintenance. Analyze requirements and design best possible and fitting solutions.
  • IFRS16: Support Real Estate Management (RE-FX) with a focus on IFRS16 reporting. Configure and manage the RE-FX module to handle real estate contracts and lease agreements. Ensure compliance with IFRS16 reporting standards.
  • Module responsibility and integration: Analyze existing processes and identify potential for improvement. Maintain and enhance GL functionalities. Oversee AP and AR processes, ensuring integration with other modules. Facilitate integration between FI and other modules such as SD and MM to ensure consistent operation across the business.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage SAP or general finance related projects from initiation to completion or work in cross-functional projects together with other SAP modules and the specialist departments. Ensure projects are delivered in time and within scope. Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders and customers. Configure and implement the SAP solutions according to the individual requirement of our customers in consultation wit the Business Implementation Manager.
  • Continuous improvement: Work together with the team in change and incident management. Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancement.

Your Profile

  • You have a degree in business administration, computer science or a comparable education.
  • You have several years of professional experience as an SAP Finance Consultant with good project management skills.
  • You have experience with S/4HANA.
  • You have a strong focus on FI-GL, especially legal reporting, extensive experience in FI-AA, familiarity with IFRS16 reporting within RE-FX and a solid understanding of FI-AP, FI-AR and their integration with SD and MM.
  • You have a proficient technical understanding and ideally debugging or programming skills in ABAP.
  • You are familiar with the relationships between master data, customizing and processes.
  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You have strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • You can work independent and as part of a team.
