Assistant Network & Inventory Planning Manager - Skin Care

Your Tasks

The Assistant Network & Inventory Planning Manager role is responsible in balancing demand & supply of the respective planning assortment. He/she creates a feasible supply plan, which ensures product availability while keeping inventory and cost low. The NIP is source oriented, meaning his/her assortment is defined by a resource cluster (fill/pack and semi-finished-goods lines). The focus lays on the operational & tactical horizon (week 3 – months 24).


Roles and responsibilities

  • Demand Requirements Planning and Deployment
  • Alert & Conflict Management
  • Inventory & Safety Stock Planning and actions to adjust.
  • Master Production Scheduling (Volume Planning & Campaign Planning) and handover to Detailed Schedule
  • Capacity Planning for all resources of own assortment including 3PM Overspill and/or PC backup for own assortment.
  • Master Data maintenance of selected planning master data
  • Facilitates a proper phase-in / out planning process and triggers leftover management process.
  • Drives continuous improvement of efficiency and effectiveness of the planning process
  • Represents Planning in the BAP and SPEED meetings.

Your Profile

  • University degree (Minimum M.Sc. or Similar) in Economics/Mathematics/Engineering or equal
  • 3-5years of relevant work experience in supply planning (having production planning knowledge would is a plus)
  • Proven strengths in teamplay within a diverse setting of cultures
  • Result-oriented combined with assertiveness & Persuasiveness
  • Strong skills in relationship building, communication and moderation.
  • Proven analytical and end to end thinking including commercial thinking
  • Advance Microsoft Excel is preferable
  • Fluent in English for communication skills spoken and written
  • Decisive and result/performance driven.
  • Proactive and collaborative
  • Is able to work with higher management
  • Service mind orientation
  • High cultural adaptability
