Your Tasks
Role Purpose: Overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end process of intercompany transactions, including budgeting, contract preparation, billing, D&A, transfer pricing documentation, documentation of benefit test, benchmarking studies, and dealing with tax authorities during tax audits/investigations. This may include, but is not limited to, supporting various tax filings, including compliance in terms of tax reporting, and supporting other changes in laws or systems that impact tax compliance. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the global/regional tax team, human resources, commercial team, and external tax advisors.

Manage and oversee all tax-related intercompany activities.

Ensure compliance with local tax and transfer pricing regulations.

Support the tax manager and commercial team in addressing tax implications of intercompany transactions, tax law changes, and coordinate with external tax advisors (as appropriate) to develop and implement solutions.

Monitor and maintain transfer pricing documentation, including preparing functional and financial analyses, benefit tests, benchmarking studies, and preparing intercompany service agreements, etc.

Work with tax advisors to conduct transfer pricing risk assessments and recommend tax compliance enhancement opportunities.

Contribute to tax awareness within the group by educating cross-functional teams.

Liaise with cross-functional teams, tax advisors, and tax investigation/audits.

Addressing tax-applicable (VAT and WHT) associates with intercompany transactions and communicating the impact to cross-functional teams.

Partner with HRBP, Global and Regional teams to steer budget, track actual spending related to intercompany transactions and ensure proper target margin.

Perform ad-hoc tax assignments.
