Key Account Manager

A. JOB PURPOSES:

  • In charge of managing for planning and excellent instore execution (collaboration with the operation team) all activities in assigned to key account customers of the MT channel.
  • Accountable for active assortment, distribution, OSA, promotion compliance, and successful supporting operation team in order to achieve profit and sale volume objectives for assigned customers.
  • Implement all agendas from Marketing and Trade Marketing.
  • Explore new customized initiatives to drive growth.
  • Budget management (trade terms and promotions)

 

B. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1.Customer Management:

  • Responsible for building and maintaining good relationships with modern trade customers.
  • Understand well customer insight, needs, and strategies for business development and contract/trading term negotiation.
  • Work with assigned customers on sales volume, promotion, category management, etc.

 

2.Account planning:

  • Responsible for the strategy and execution of customer assigned to deliver business objectives and channel strategies.
  • Responsible for long-term and short-term customer strategic activities and objectives: yearly/quarterly/monthly sales target, sale fundamentals, trade programs (trade promotion, consumer promotion, support activities, etc.)
  • Accountable for sale fundamentals, sale target, and other KPIs to be achieved daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly in the assigned channel.

 

3.Budget management:

  • Manage the budget and spending of assigned customers to make sure business objectives are delivered effectively.

 

4.Others:

  • Well understand shopper and their insight turning into business action for channel strategy delivery.
  • Accountable for daily/ weekly/ monthly sending reports accurately and timely.
  • Responsible for checking competitors, market information, trade promotion, activities & others reimbursements.
  • Others assigned by line manager.

 

C. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1.Education Qualification: University Degree

 

2.Working Experiences:

  • At least three years of experience in key account management.
  • Practical experience in the FMCG industry is advantage.

 

3.Competencies requirement:

  • Having solid planning capability (promotion planning, budget management, stock forecast)
  • In-depth understanding of operations
  • Entrepreneurship (taking the business as their own)
  • Performance oriented
  • Proactive, result-focused, and follow-up to the end
  • Persuasive and effective communication
  • Independent and reliable
  • Problem analysis and problem solving
  • Distributor Management
  • Passionate and able to work under high pressure

 

4.Other qualifications:

  • Practical experience and knowledge of personal and skin care will be an advantage.
  • Fluent English
