Your Tasks
You are passionate about working on collaborative projects with external partners from academia and industry and about translating newest scientific findings into consumer-oriented skin care concepts and products? Join our ”Life Science Strategy and Outcubation” team to strengthen our expertise in life sciences and to identify superior scientific approaches in skin care!

You will help bring in and monitor the latest life science knowledge and to deduce innovative opportunities and intervention strategies to identify & qualify cosmetically relevant skin applications

You will assist in expanding our external network to academic and industrial research institutions and start-ups
-
You will
support the initiation of joint innovative research projects and co-steer them through the relevant phases
(milestone measures)

You will
design and conduct key experiments
to validate or devalidate intervention strategies at the earliest possible stage

You will share your enthusiasm for innovative skin research with others and present your findings and ideas to diverse target groups
This position is
temporary initially for two years
.
Your Profile
-
University degree in natural sciences, highly desirable accompanied by relevant professional experience
-
Very good expertise in life sciences with a focus on skin biology, knowledge and hands-on experience of relevant standard and leading-edge methods, including experimental design
-
Good track record of organizing and managing complex projects, including administrative work
-
A curious mindset, entrepreneurial thinking and innovation sourcing skills
-
Experience in evaluating and writing patents would be an advantage
-
A high level of flexibility, a proactive and self-driven mindset, and a strong ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Fluency in both English and German preferred
The salary range is approximately EUR 60,000 - 75,000 gross depending on knowledge and experience plus benefits. Unfortunately, the position is
not suitable
for candidates with a
PhD
.
