RGM Regional Manager

Your Tasks

Role Purpose:
Drive RGM implementation across Spanish Speaking Latam and locally via enabling analytical deep dives and ensuring delivery. RGM Manager owns Pricing, Promotion and Mix Management Agenda, ensuring the correct execution in Mexico and monitoring and giving guidance when needed across the region.

Main Accountabilities:


Pricing: Owns effective pricing execution locally (on-time and right pricing with active market monitoring)
and gatekeeps excellence in pricing execution across Latam.

•    LOCAL Only:

1)    Provide Pricing analysis to understand the categories landscape (e.g., price ranges, price positioning of brands / BDF vs competitors,  pack sizes vs pricing, channel pricing, price corridor, price elasticity, identifying psychological pricing thresholds, correction of outliers).
2)    Ensures that PI Mitigation actions are penetrated into customer implementation plans.

•    REGION:

3)    Defines pricing guidelines per RE for MU and shares with Activation Markets.
4)    Builds Selling Story decks to be used during customer negotiations and share with Activation Markets.
5)    Supports Activation Markets to develop low KPI scores with additional guidance (e.g. Volume risk mitigation model).


Promotion: Leads the center of excellence for Latam in order to deliver efficient promo management (right promotions to accomplish both competitive advantage and profitability) via a hands-on approach.

•    LOCAL Only:

1)    Gathers consumer insights from marketing and customer insights from sales.
2)    Understands how total promo investment is distributed across key customers (e.g., promo investment against P&L performance and MS impact.
3)    Keep track of up-to-date (future) customer promo plans (built and shared by Sales)  --> planning (one-pager) --> Top 10 direct customers.
4)    Reviews and assesses retailer promo strategy to understand the implications for BDF and competition.


•    REGION:

10)    Runs Promo intensity analysis for MU for Lead and Activation (RGM Now! PBI or manually). (REGION)
11)    Runs Promo depth analysis for MU for Lead and Activation (RGM Now! PBI or manually) (REGION)

Mix Management: Manages landing of optimum level of profitability delivered through right mix (product and customer) and its integration into customer planning across LatAm.

•    LOCAL Only:

1)    Suggests the size of the prize on ABP. (LOCAL Only).
2)    Ensures priority SKUs are integrated into customer plans via discussions with local sales teams. (LOCAL Only).

•    REGION:

3)    Analyzes category / sub-category / SKU performance per each channel and key customer.
4)    Suggests categories & products with highest profit and net sales contribution to business.

Your Profile

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Sales Controlling or RGM in a Manager Role.
  • Sales or S&CM/Trade Mkt background desirable.
  • Knowledge of Mexico´s Trade.
  • FMCG background (at least 3 years).
  • Planning, communication, channel/customer understanding skills.
  • Follow up and leadership skills.
  • Financial Analysis skills required.
  • Proven experiences of matching brand strategies and channel strategies with financial KPI´s.
  • Able to identify activation markets RGM needs.
  • Pragmatic, Dynamic, results-oriented individual with a "hands on" style
  • Able to adapt, navigate and have a protagonist role in a fast-paced, high-growth, changing environment (FMCG).
  • Interpersonal and communication skills; team player.
  • Fluent English.
