Technical Product Owner CRM - Salesforce (all genders)

Your Tasks

The Technical Product Owner (TPO), in close collaboration with the Business Product Owner, determines which features and functionalities are added to the product, sets priorities based on stakeholder input, and, together with the Business Product Owner, provides an overall vision of the product and how it will evolve in the future. The TPO facilitates technical platform solutions, manages third-party integration solutions, and participates in vendor management responsibilities. Your solution scope spans across Beiersdorf Departments and Business areas, including Marketing, Supply Chain, and R&D.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision and Strategy:
    • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for CRM solutions within Salesforce.
    • Align the product roadmap with business objectives and customer needs.
    • Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, team morning stand-ups, and any other sprint process activity.

  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
    • Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Backlog Management:
    • Prioritize and manage the product backlog to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
    • Ensure that the development team understands the product goals and scope.

  • Development and Implementation:
    • Oversee the development and implementation of CRM solutions within Salesforce.
    • Work closely with the development team to ensure technical feasibility and quality.

  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Communicate product progress, updates, and releases to stakeholders.
    • Facilitate regular meetings with business and technical teams to ensure alignment.

  • Ensure System Performance and Compliance:
    • Ensure Cyber Security and Data Privacy compliance.
    • Ensure high performance of system design.

  • Support and Partner Management:
    • Ensure smooth support processes and monitor SLA compliance.
    • Manage and select partners for system implementation, enhancement, and support.

  • Functional Lead
    • Functional lead for CRM Team
    • Manage the CRM Team across the CRM Program. Including Project, Budget and Team planning

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (or other related field) or specialized IT vocational training with several years of professional experience
  • At least several years in product/ project/ program management or a similar role, preferably with Salesforce CRM
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM architecture and functionalities
  • JavaScript, APEX Web services, AppExchange
  • Certification (e.g. Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud specific) is a plus
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and product management best practices
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to plan, organize, schedule, and manage various projects
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, problem solving and working independently in a fast paced enviroment
  • Innovative and not afraid to challenge the status quo, working solution-oriented with strong data points to support your approach
  • Driven to learn and master new technologies and techniques, including new ways of working
  • Fluent in English
