Your Tasks

  • Develop and implement new and traditional sensory approaches, integrating artificial intelligence where applicable.
  • Translate consumer sensory preferences into objective sensory profiles to inform product development.
  • Oversee the accuracy and quality of sensory panel data, ensuring high standards are met.
  • Coach, train, and mentor colleagues to enhance their sensory skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to align sensory strategies with business objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in sensory science to continuously improve methodologies.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations and lead panel sessions, actively engaging in practical sensory work.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree or higher in Sensory Science, Food Science, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sensory role within a consumer goods company, sensory agency, or research institute.
  • Strong passion for consumer insights and translating them into actionable sensory profiles.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing sensory methodologies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with a genuine interest in developing others.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work practically and lead sensory panel sessions.
