Your Tasks

Role Purposes
Provide direction and strategic leadership to drive the development of Eucerin business in the Ethical environment to achieve top line, sales objectives in a healthy bottom line, profitable situation.  Essentially, the incumbent of this position need to provide strategies in establishing a Strategic Business Unit to lead, promote and detail Eucerin to medical professionals as ways to increase prescription of Eucerin® to their patients AND develop KOLs to highly recommend Eucerin® to their fellow counterparts in the dermatology field.

Key Accountabilities

Ethical Business Expansion Strategy Formulation & Deployment

  • Develop effective assortment strategy based on thorough market / disease needs requirement assessment in order to provide DKSH HEC counterpart the clear strategic guidelines / direction of focus area.
  • Strategic Customer Profiling to demarcate the field of opportunities into the right segmentation as ways to deploy the prioritization of product strategy for areas of expansion.
  • Drive long term strategic objectives & goals for the brand by designing the ‘fit’ structure & resources to compete in the competitive Ethical environment.
  • Broadcasting of agreed Ethical strategies to DKSH HEC counterpart with constant review to align with brand direction & strategic goals.

Investment Management

  • Evaluate effectiveness of all Ethical programmes & investments to strike a balance in deployment of resources between achieving long term objectives & deriving tactical quick-wins to grow brand.

KOL Management / Detailing / Training

  • Identify, evaluate, establish, cultivate & maintain good rapport with KOLs in the dermatological field and/or additional/new specialty fields which could be utilized in order to preserve & expand the business via higher recommendation.
  • Learn & maintain high level of proficiency on Eucerin® products in order to present, promote & detail to relevant key stakeholders the product’s features, benefits & relevant studies.
  • Provide professional competitive trainings on products and/or related skin topics to relevant key stakeholders.

Sales Achievement

  • Direct implementation of Ethical programs in order to achieve sales & market share targets.

Leadership

  • Supervise, guide & develop indirect DKSH HEC Detailers in order to ensure optimum performance on the job & to prepare them for bigger responsibilities in the future.

To perform any ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.

Your Profile

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing or Pharmaceutical.
  • Relevant, demonstrated sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven ability to anticipate changes in the environment accurately & adapt thinking appropriately.
  • An understanding of product concept writing, marketing principles of 4P’s mix & basic research skills.
  • An understanding of Demand Review and S&OP Processes.
  • Strong market analysis skills.
  • Strong negotiation & people-management skills with a focus on KOL rapport building.
  • Project Management / Planning.
  • Proven willingness to accept accountability for results, share success & develop high levels of loyalty & morale with both the brand and its other stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively communicate own views, plans clearly & facilitate communication with other groups/teams.
  • Competent in developing business presentations, product detailing & provide product training to senior management, DKSH counterpart, medical professionals, pharmacists, Ethical sales reps., etc.
