As Media Activation manager for our Eucerin & Hansaplast brands, you will be a member of the local marketing BeNeLux team and reporting to the Head of Media and Communictation Benelux and have a dotted line to the Management Unit Media Manager France/Benelux of Eucerin & Hansaplast. You will work with local teams & agencies to define and implement the media & activation strategy for our iconic brands Eucerin & Hansaplast. You will work on the different categories, based on the international strategy recommendation & guidelines. Furthermore, you collaborate closely with the Jr. Digital Manager BNL, to assure a seamless connection between Media and Owned Channels for Eucerin and Hansaplast for both the Netherlands and Belgium.

This role is based in Belgium, but will require to travel to the Amsterdam office once a month. You will work closely with the Media Activation Manager BE of NIVEA & Labello and the PR, Influencer & Engagement Manager of both Belgium & the Netherlands to leverage any possible synergies & learnings and work on BeNeLux strategies. Your main responsibilities will include:

Define the overall Media Activation Strategy for BE & NL:

  • For Eucerin & Hansaplast in collaboration with Head of Media & Communication BNL, E-Commerce and marketing teams, in line with EUNA recommendation & guidelines.
  • Analysis of the market, competition, local landscape and create learnings from past years
  • Project management, with briefing of agencies via our integrated Media platform for Eucerin & Hansaplast and daily point of contact in executing campaigns for Media Agency.
  • Give input for digital plan for the digital owned channels for the Jr. Digital Manager.
  • Update stakeholders within the company on strategy and developments as well as key customers when needed.
  • Collaborate with Ecom team on full funnel Strategy and act as the lead in coordination towards Media Agency for upper funnel touchpoints.
  • Implement with excellence in execution the action plans defined in the strategy in collaboration with Brand managers.
  • Ensuring golden rules from EUNA are implemented and dashboards / reports are accurately filled in.
  • Support on ad hoc initiatives and priorities to ensure smooth team operations.

Agency management:

  • You will be the main point of contact for the Digital marketing & Media agencies for Eucerin & Hansaplast for both the Netherlands and Belgium together with the Management Unit Media Manager of France/Benelux..
  • Coordinate campaigns with local agencies for media & digital and manages the contracts & performance evaluation for these topics​. Finally you are responsible for budget coordination and ensure accurate landing according to briefing.

Corporate Branding & compliance guidelines:

  • Ensuring alignment of corporate brand image with global identity guidelines and adequate usage of institutional information – both internally and externally.
  • Ensure the perfect fit with Beiersdorf values.

Your Profile

What it takes to join us:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in marketing/digital/ business is preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant working experience in Media agencies or FMCG in similar role.
  • Track record in digital on both paid channels and owned channels
  • Business proficiency in English and fluent in French & Dutch – This is mandatory.
  • Aware of the latest developments in the Media landscape.
  • Digital savvy, is aware of the latest trends in local and international digital landscape.
  • Experience in creating full funnel campaigns and integrating Marketing Mix Modelling learnings.
  • Creative capacities to challenge, or if needed, create marketing concepts.
  • Assertiveness and ability to listen and create consensus.
  • Ownership and proactivity on taking the lead in projects.
  • Capacity to drive simplicity and quick action in a complex environment.
  • Initiative and curiosity, to spot and pursue opportunities before competition.
  • Revise and adapt the plans if necessary: be proactive in sharing and suggest proper adjustments.
