As a Compensation & Benefits / Payroll Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organization’s payroll processes are accurate, efficient, and compliant while also managing employee compensation and benefits programs effectively. You will be responsible for maintaining payroll records, processing payroll, administering benefits programs, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your contribution will directly impact employee satisfaction and organizational success.

Your Tasks

  • You accurately process payroll for a number of countries, either directly in Beiersdorf systems or working with a provider.
  • You work with other roles (e. g. talent acquisition) to ensure timely and complete employee master data and update according to change requests.
  • You serve as 2nd level contact for questions employees may have.
  • You manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits. Coordinate enrollment, changes, and terminations (collaborating with local HR colleagues).
  • You maintain and update salary structures and bonuses and include in calculation of payout.
  • You collect time tracking and absence information (where relevant) and include them in payroll operations.
  • Working with other roles, you stay updated on payroll and benefits regulations. You ensure compliance with tax laws, labor laws, and reporting requirements.
  • You maintain accurate payroll and benefits records. Process employee changes, deductions, and withholdings accurately.
  • You generate payroll and benefits reports for management and regulatory agencies as required. Provide insights and analysis as needed.

Your Profile

  • With a college / bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in economics, psychology, or a related field under your belt, you boast several years of experience in the recruitment realm.
  • You have proven experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • You have experience with other countries in LATAM such as Costa Rica, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, or others.
  • You possess strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and benefits programs.
  • You attention to detail and accuracy is excellent.
  • You are able to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills complement your profile, as do effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in Spanish and with working proficiency in English you navigate internationally with confidence.
