Job Description
The Brand Marketing Intern will support the Brand Manager in executing marketing strategies and operational activities to ensure brand growth and effective campaign implementation. This role offers hands-on experience in trade, media, creative, and cross-functional collaborations while developing skills in data analysis, project management, and marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Monitoring and Trade Operations
- Conduct trade checks to assess in-store brand presence and monitor competitor activities. Update trackers needed for monitoring.
- Participate in team Retail On-The-Job Activities (ROTA) to gain insights into market trends.
2. Procurement and Documentation
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and Stock Request Forms (SRFs) for product pullouts.
- Collaborate with agencies and our main distributor to facilitate product logistics and approvals.
3. Creative Asset Development
- Design creative materials for media assets that cater to having bundles, discounts, and any form of brand promotion in alignment with campaign objectives.
- Work with agencies to have this approved by theAdvertising Standards Council (ASC).
4. KOL and Campaign Management
- Review Key Opinion Leader (KOL) content outlines and drafts to ensure alignment with brand and campaign objectives.
- Review KOL tool kits before release.
5. Event Activations
- Support end-to-end event processing, including idea generation, preparation, and execution in collaboration with the Brand Manager and agencies. This includes KOL/Host briefing, PR kit ordering and packing, script making, etc.
6. POS and Collateral Management
- Manage end-to-end production of brand-initiated POS materials like cap stickers, from artwork creation to supply chain coordination --ensuring that this will meet the target IMS and NGS of the company.
7. Administrative Support
- Record and maintain minutes of bi-monthly category meetings.
- Assist in tasks such as price ladder creation and finding accurate packshots from the global DAM system for trade letters.
8. Artwork and Data Management
- Track Design-to-Print (D2P) artwork workflow within the system.
- Use Nielsen data to categorize products and franchises under the appropriate NIVEA segmentation.
9. Budget Optimization
- Monitor and suggest ways to optimize project budgets by tracking spending from POs and SRFs to ensure efficient use of resources.
10. General Assistance
- Provide day-to-day assistance to the Brand Manager in various operational and strategic tasks.
