Your Tasks

Role Purposes
This job is responsible for the management over all Supply Chain team for Malaysia and Singapore markets, overseeing Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Customer Service & Logistics, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure top-tier customer service. The position supports and executes MU (Management Unit) Supply Chain strategy in alignment with global/regional goals and contributes to short- and long-term business planning. The role works closely with the Country Manager, MU ASEAN Supply Chain Director, and Management team to drive growth and profitability.

Key Accountabilities

  • Strategy : Collaborate with the MU ASEAN Supply Chain Director and MYSG Country Manager to shape Supply Chain strategies aligned with CU and MU goals. Support execution of strategic priorities for MY and SG within the global/regional framework and contribute to both short- and long-term business planning.

  • Planning : Direct the evaluation and prediction customer demand in co-operation with Marketing and Sales / Country Managers to meet the required monthly and annual business forecasts. Ensure efficient replenishment of finished goods based on forecasts and acting as interface between customers and Production Centers (PCs) / other Hubs for all logistics related processes. Leads the management of inventory to deliver high customer service levels and healthy working capital.

  • S&OP Process : Lead the S&OP process as an indispensable process to create value and competitive advantage for the business. Co-ordinates alignment between finance, sales and supply chain planning and reconciliation between demand and supply plans ensuring the optimal mix of low inventory level and high product availability.

  • Master Data, Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs : Provides product, vendor, and customer master data (as far as SC is concerned) within SAP and maintains data to ensure timely and accurate information across the unit. Ensure compliance with the requirement of the sanitary authority. Further develop value adding quality measures to increase quality of processes and products for the countries.

  • Warehouse & Distribution Management : Partner with the 4PL in managing warehouse, logistics and transport (inbound and outbound) operations ensuring timely, cost effective and service optimized material flow of goods. Continuously looking for improvements that drive increased service at reduced costs.

  • Supply Chain Customer Management : Ensuring safe, cost and service optimized order management processes to customers and all related processes in line with standards, regulations and corporate guidelines. Collecting and analyzing customers’ requests on Supply Chain topics and improving end-to-end Supply Chain relationship with selected customers in collaborative action.

  • VAS Management : Leads the development and delivery of Value-Added Service products, aligned to business requirements. Continuously evaluates and improves the VAS process to increase efficiency.

  • Organization and Leadership : Identifying organizational changes and measures for improvement of the organization and initiate adequate measures within framework of the global organizational excellence model. Guiding, motivating and developing the team.

  • Regional Synergies : Support the regional supply chain team in aligning processes, sharing best practices, and managing global customer requests with cross-MU impact. Define procurement strategies and lead cost-saving projects against demand owner budgets.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering / Supply Chain Management/Business Administration/Economics. MBA or Master’s in Engineering Management or Supply Chain is a plus
  • 8 – 10 years in Supply Chain, and 5 years in a senior managerial role.
  • Experience in FMCG industries is preferable.
  • Have experiences or knowledge in Demand & Supply Planning, Procurement, Logistics Operation, and other Supply Chain related.
  • Experience in managing 3rd party logistic provider is preferable.
  • Excellent in presentation skill to easily communicate with audiences.
  • Show strong sense of ownership to drive business beyond its potential.
  • Self-motivation and be accountable for own actions.
  • Excellent in speaking and writing English.
  • Able to work under high pressure and flexible business environment.
  • High capacity to adjust to changing environments and requirements.
