Project Manager Factory Design/Investment (all genders)

Your Tasks

The Factory Investments Team is an International Team within Supply Chain Technology, which globally leads factory development and asset investment in Beiersdorf's production network. Our manufacturing network is going through a major transformation and dealing with an unprecedent investment volume in all regions.

The tasks include

  • Handling strategic factory development projects, which are highly complex in nature and require broad interdepartmental stakeholder management.
  • Lead the long-term site development and facilitate deployment of site investment plans in global organization.
  • Work very closely with our factory, regional and global leadership to ensure fully integrated solution architecture.
  • Promote strong collaboration across Manufacturing, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Quality, Safety, and other key areas in relation to CAPEX projects and strategy.
  • Manage external partners providing engineering services and other related consultancy.
  • Enable methodical fact-based decisions making.
  • Manage multilayered Stakeholders across functions and regions in matrix organization.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all interested parties and evaluating project effectiveness and efficiency, while communicating project status to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Capture lessons learned and leverage opportunities for continuous improvement across organization.
  • Ensure early project management methodology deployment including success criteria, timelines, estimate capital budgets and business case ownership.
  • Scouting & benchmarking of industry trends / technologies

Your Profile

  • Master's Degree in engineering /life science/ business administration with several years of proven track record in Supply Chain/Engineering Positions.
  • Relevant professional experience and knowledge in production, manufacturing-, process- and plant-engineering with high technical understanding.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, proven to manage many stakeholders at all levels and across different geographies.
  • Innovative mindset, challenging status quo and continuously looking for opportunities to improve processes and solutions.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Ability to navigate in a matrix organization, understand complex challenges and facilitate strong decision making.
  • High communicative competence and cooperation skills, also at international level.
  • Confident appearance and persuasive power.
  • Analytical problem solving skills and target-oriented working methods.
  • Excellent leadership/communication/presentation skills.
  • Fluent English mandatory.
