Senior Business Controller (all genders)

Your Tasks

  • Lead the redesign and implementation of efficient planning, forecasting, and reporting processes across Beiersdorf Shared Services (BSS).
  • Collaborate closely with IT and Global Financial Services (GFS) teams, providing robust financial support and driving continuous process improvement.
  • Oversee international functional leadership, including onboarding, development, and coaching of team members to ensure high performance.
  • Lead BSS business and financial forecasting, aligning strategies with group objectives and setting ambitious yet realistic targets.
  • Actively participate in cost steering for IT and GFS, ensuring close collaboration with key functions to optimize financial outcomes.
  • Play a key role in IT transformation projects, co-creating value and aligning with financial goals.
  • Support the BSS Finance Manager with special projects, including geographical and functional expansion, ensuring alignment with business strategy.

Your Profile

  • 8+ years of experience in Controlling or Financial Planning & Analysis, with a strong track record of success.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, ideally with a focus on Finance or Controlling.
  • A proactive personality with an entrepreneurial approach, capable of driving initiatives and leading change.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Confident in using MS Office, SAP, and reporting tools within the SAP environment. Power BI skills and an interest in data management tools are a plus.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
