Your Tasks

Do you want to be an active part of transforming our entire IT department towards the usage of state-of-the-art based technology and reshaping processes? Would you like to contribute to the digital transformation of Beiersdorf? Come and join the Cloud Competence Center as part of the Beiersdorf IT. We are a very young and highly motivated team which is responsible for providing the technical platform & processes to use cloud services all over the Beiersdorf Family.  As part of our team you will:

  • build up and drive the development of Google Cloud Capabilities for our Beiersdorf Cloud Platform
  • simplify and enhance operational efficiency through End-to-End automation
  • shape our infrastructure and application landscape in the Google Cloud to realize a scalable, reliable, cost effective and secure platform architecture that aligns with our strategic objectives
  • serve our customers, primarily from the marketing area, as a Subject Matter Expert offering guidance and insights on best practices and solutions within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem
  • provide expert-level troubleshooting support, resolving complex technical issues and ensuring customer success

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field or comparable experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on administering the Google Cloud Platform
  • Solid understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) principles, and experience with implementing and managing IAM within the Google Cloud Platform environment
  • Familiarity with Data Analytics stack of cloud platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (preferably Terraform) and CI/CD tooling to build, test and deploy infrastructure for application environments
  • You enjoy continuously learning and keeping up with advances in cloud computing
  • You demonstrate strong analytical skills with attention to detail. You approach tasks in a self-organized and solution-driven manner
  • You empathize with customers to understand their technical and business requirements to design solutions according to their needs
  • You have experience in stakeholder management within midsize or large organizations, showcasing your skills in project coordination or in managing relationships with key business customers
  • You are a motivated team player who can effortlessly communicate in English (C1 level), thrives in multicultural environments, and enjoys engaging with international project teams
