Your Tasks

The Account Manager role aims to drive sales growth and market share by building strong relationships with pharmacies and online pharma customers. This involves understanding their needs and providing solutions aligned with Eucerin & Hansaplast’ s strategies. The role includes developing strategic plans, leading negotiations, and ensuring effective implementation of pricing and promotions. Additionally, the Account Manager seeks growth opportunities and supports Sr. NAM with additional tasks. You will collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders and your efforts will strengthen the position of Eucerin in the pharmacy channel and drive our growth.

  • Drive topline Net Sales (NS) and Market Share (MS) growth.
  • Deepen connections with pharmacies and online pharma customers by understanding their needs and consistently offering solutions aligning Eucerin & Hansaplast’ s strategies.
  • Foster strong, positive business relationships through regular customer reviews to ensure a seamless business-to-business partnership.
  • Develop and execute customer investment and sales strategies in collaboration with the Sr. NAM Derma NL to achieve distribution, market share, sales margins, and customer contribution targets
  • Create and implement annual sales and customer-marketing plans to meet brand, category, and customer objectives with efficiency and excellence.
  • Lead annual negotiations and implement joint business plans, managing the customer TTC system based on the Pay for Performance principle.
  • Ensure the delivery of monthly business forecasts and provide weekly updates on any variances to the Sr. NAM Derma NL.
  • Analyze sell-out figures and promotions to gain business insights, and monitor local pricing and POS excellence.
  • Prepare and implement customer promotion plans in line with the overall Eucerin strategy, in agreement with the Sr. NAM Derma NL and Business Lead/Sales Manager.
  • Strive for excellent execution of commercial strategies to position Eucerin as the best-in-class skincare company globally and in pharmacies.
  • Maximize the accessibility of Eucerin & Hansaplast products in pharmacies, working closely with the Shopper- & Customer Marketing Manager.
  • Monitor and ensure the correct execution of Selective Distribution (SD) for customers, aligning with the Sr. NAM Derma to ensure compliance.
  • Work collaboratively with the Pharmacy Office, Field, and Medical Management Team.

Your Profile

  • University / Master Degree (Business, economics, digital)
  • Have around 2+ years work experience in a commercial role in FMCG in The Netherlands
  • Analytical and strategic
  • Pro-active, creative, curious and output driven
  • Commercial mind-set and not afraid to take risks and the ability to convince others;
  • Performance & result driven
  • Customer-oriented and able to build credible relationships as well as being a strong negotiator
