Technology Manager (all genders) field of study coordination in cooperation with dermatologists

Your Tasks

Beiersdorf is a leading dermatology and skin care company dedicated to developing innovative products for the pharmacy market and medical applications. Our brands, including Eucerin and Hansaplast, stand for quality and trust. The Consumer & Clinical Science department plays a crucial role in research and development by conducting clinical studies to prove the tolerability and efficacy of skin care products. The department focuses on screening new active ingredients, characterizing prototype formulations and ensuring the efficacy and tolerability of products prior to market launch. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated Technology Manager (all genders) who will ensure the quality of our products through well-founded studies in cooperation with dermatologists and drive the use of digital tools.

  • Independent development and optimization of study designs for in-vivo studies on the tolerability and efficacy of our products, primarily in cooperation with external dermatologists.

  • Network maintenance and development with external dermatological partners for the successful implementation of studies.

  • Advising internal and external clients on the definition of study objectives and requirements.

  • Use of modern digital tools for data collection and analysis.

  • Regular analysis and evaluation of relevant biophysical measurement methods and clinical assessments of skin, taking into account digital innovations.

  • Interpretation of biometric evaluations and derivation of recommendations for action, supported by digital analysis tools.

  • Preparation of medical-scientific reports and presentations to communicate study results, using digital presentation techniques.

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed (technical) university degree or equivalent qualification in the natural sciences or medical field (preferably pharmacy, chemistry, or biology).
  • Relevant experience in maintaining contacts in the field of dermatology as well as knowledge of skin diseases and their treatment.
  • Sound knowledge of methods of in-vivo efficacy and tolerability testing, preferably also in the context of therapeutic skin care.
  • High affinity for digital tools and technologies in the field of in-vivo studies including experience with digital platforms for data collection and analysis.
  • Excellent team and communication skills as well as a careful and structured way of working.
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English.
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications and other digital tools.
