Procurement & Cost Optimization
Negotiate mould maintenance and refurbishment requests/offers from suppliers post-SOP in collaboration with Packaging Development (7–10 million EUR annual spend).
Negotiate selected new moulds & assets in collaboration with Packaging Development (25-30 million EUR annual spend).
Track and report savings of mould maintenance negotiations to showcase benefits and enable further advanced mould management solutions.
Review and update the Mould Strategy together with the Sourcing Team to align with long-term procurement objectives.
Mould Refurbishment Process & Data Management
Create transparency on the mould refurbishment pipeline, prioritizing critical moulds for maintenance and refurbishment.
Establish and maintain a Mould Refurbishment Database, including detailed refurbishment information, drawings, offers, and historical data.
Develop warranty and spare-part strategies to ensure long-term mould performance and efficiency.
Define end-of-life & scrapping guidelines to ensure cost-effective asset management.

Take an active role in shaping the Mould Management at Beiersdorf and develop topics that you find important. You will have the opportunity to drive key developments and make a lasting impact. Examples include:
Support integration of sensors, analytics, and robust tools for predictive maintenance.
Steer implementation of predictive maintenance tools for BDF-owned moulds.
Steer and oversee the technical assessments, troubleshooting, and on-site evaluations of IM-Moulds.
Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Engineering.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in mould management, preferably within injection molding, converting, or FMCG-focused industries.
Strong expertise in mould maintenance, refurbishment, and asset lifecycle management.
Experience in defining and drafting standardized processes, including RACIs and governance models.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional discussions with Business and Supply Chain stakeholders. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP; experience with data analytics tools and procurement software is advantageous.
Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%).
