Your Tasks

At Beiersdorf, digitalization stands as a paramount cross-functional priority. Within the sphere of Supply Chain Manufacturing, digitalization emerges as a pivotal focus area, strategically aligned with the goals outlined in the CARE+ Strategy. Its aim is to bolster efficiency and optimize operations. Central to this digital transformation is the utilization of data analytics, serving as a vital catalyst for achieving customization, enhancing flexibility, and driving productivity gains.

  • Lead one of the key pillars of Manufacturing Digitalization
  • Develop end-to-end data analytics capabilities to address business needs
  • Improve current manufacturing and supply chain KPIs
  • Build upon continuous improvement and operational excellence foundations
  • Leverage shopfloor data to define and solve key business problems
  • Act as a business translator to align technical solutions with business objectives

Your Profile

  • University master’s degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering) with good business understanding, PhD is a plus
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience (experience in compounding/processing will be a plus)
  • Working experience in a factory environment or a role close to manufacturing
  • Passionate about data and its linkage to business processes
  • Profound knowledge in process and data management
  • Good knowledge of relational database concepts (SQL experience is a plus)
  • Good knowledge and experiences in programming languages like Python or R
  • Good knowledge of mathematical optimization, statistics and machine learning concepts
  • Good knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP BW/BI, Power BI or Tableau, MS Office
  • Strong analytical & conceptual skills combined with assertiveness & persuasiveness
  • Project management skills in an intercultural working environment
  • Strategic thinking skills; act with entrepreneurship; able to balance interests; result-oriented and performance focus
  • Fluent English communication skills spoken and written
