At Beiersdorf, we are committed to enabling digital transformation across our organization. Our Application Development team is a trusted partner to all business functions, implementing custom applications that make a difference to how people across Beiersdorf take decisions, access relevant information, and pursue their daily work. We are looking for a passionate “Lead SAP Developer” to join the team.

Our team consists of highly motivated and experienced application developers from various professional backgrounds spanning open source, Microsoft and SAP technologies. We are part of Beiersdorf’s AI & Automation organization.
Our tech stack: SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Fiori/UI5, Business Application Studio, Eclipse, Azure DevOps (GIT)

Your Tasks

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions, including but not limited to SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and SAP ABAP
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Oversee the development team, providing guidance, mentorship and support to ensure best practices in coding and development
  • Manage and lead a community of SAP developers, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Guide and coordinate with external partners and vendors to ensure alignment with project goals and deliverables
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality assurance processes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and trends, recommending improvements and innovations

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Several years of hands-on experience in SAP development
  • Proven experience in leading development teams and managing projects, with strong management skills
  • In-depth understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD) and their integration with other systems
  • Proficiency in SAP Fiori/UI5 development is a plus, including experience with Fiori design principles and SAP Fiori Elements
  • Knowledge of SAP Gateway and OData services for Fiori app development, along with experience in SAP Fiori launchpad configuration and customization
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead a community of developers
  • Strong general software engineering skills including DevOps and CI/CD
  • Proficiency in English is required. German is a plus
  • Ability to work in a self-organizing environment and eagerness to continuously learn
