This role is responsible to drive the commercial planning for our Derma and Health Care Brands on an in-depth understanding of the category shopping behaviour and the entire retail environment you will create new and efficient solutions (on & offline).

You will…

  • build an  in-depth understanding of the shopper drivers & the purchasing barriers of the categories for  the complete path of purchase
  • identify new category business development opportunities at channel & customer level  based on detailed RGM analysis
  • create category leadership solutions with the aim to deliver profitable sales growth across the key seasonal timeframes in the right placement
  • partner with RED to secure that category needs from sales point of view are continuously integrated in the category vision and pipeline development, based on the input of the regions.
  • be accountable for the go-to market (Sellin stories) deck for the perfect execution of the Placement, Shelving, Pricing, Promotion of the category
  • developing clear guidelines to support the regions ensuring excellence in execution locally
  • defining Price Maps for the respective categories in close alignment with RED and the Global RGM and Category Management team to ensure a consistent pricing approach across the brands
  • do post launch assessment and turn analysis into recommended actions
  • do regular competitors watch under the roof of RGM levers to drive learnings into the organization
  • Partner with the Global POS Team for defining one Beiersdorf POS guideline including specifics for respective categories.
  • closely collaborate with the regions to understand and deliver global guidelines and principles based on regional demands

Your Profile

  • University degree (preferably in Business Administration)
  • International sales experience and mindset
  • 7+ years of experience in FMCG/ and or retail
  • 7+years of business analytical experience
  • Local Sales / Category Management experience
  • Shopper insights knowledge
  • Multi-channel experience
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and to influence stakeholders across the matrix
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Fluent in English
