Your Tasks

Role Purpose

  • Responsible for the Singapore country and channel strategy development & implementation to achieve profitable business growth and relationship with customers.
  • The country strategies need to be in line with shoppers marketing, brand strategies and sales objectives.
  • This role will be working closely with shopper & customers marketing and sales department to ensure brand communications and trade execution are maximized in store.

Key Accountabilities

Sales

  • Work closely with Sales Director to achieve mutually agreed objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with modern trade customers and distributors alike to promote brand awareness and profitable business relationships.
  • Drives the performance of the sales team via executing the 4P strategies as aligned with shipper & customer marketing team to deliver organizational goal and results.
  • Oversee sales support activities such as sales administration, customer service, distribution and invoicing to ensure that customer orders are processed, dispatched and invoiced on time.
  • Ensure trade expenses is executed efficiently and within budget allocated
  • Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures or re-allocate resources to improve the overall performance of the sales team.
  • Lead drumbeats of planning and review processes to ensure consistent monitoring and on track delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual deliverables (Monthly Customer Day, Channel Profitability Review, Weekly sales BE and shipment planning, timely T2T with key retailers and distributor partners)
  • Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization.
  • Proactively manage trade stocks freshness through FIFO and promotion execution
  • Keep abreast with latest market trend and development, with sound knowledge of competitors’ activities.
  • Responsible for the total country sales process, aiming at meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Sales Operations & Retail

  • Work with Ops supervisor to review monthly the SFA productivity and efficiency.
  • Review and work with retail executives / beauty advisors store execution and monthly targets.
  • Monthly review on POSM execution with Ops and CDM.
  • Proactively manage trade stocks freshness through FIFO and promotion execution.

Coaching and team development (Manage, oversee, guidance, coaching, motivation etc.)

  • Coach & develop team’s skill in terms of KA management, JBP planning, 4P planning and execution etc.
  • Being a key liaison to bring multifunction stakeholders together and drive towards delivering organizational growth objectives.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business development or other related fields.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in key account management or similar area of multi-national companies
  • At least 5 years’ experience in managerial skills.
  • Analytical, business acumen, negotiation, customer-oriented, presentation, results-driven, KA management, JBP planning
  • Computer literacy in MS Office
  • Good command in English both spoken and written
  • Strong trade relationship with Key Retailers
