Based on internal requirements combined with those of regional consumers and customers, ensure optimized short, mid and long term localized structure and operation of all key Supply Chain elements (plan, source, make, deliver), supported where possible by regional and global experts, standards and guidelines. As a member of the local Executive Team & AME Supply chain leadership team, Lead and support the development of the plans and strategic direction of the Management Unit and cluster.
Responsibilities -
1) Strategy and business plan - Supply Chain Strategy includes the development of a local production/sourcing concept to drive local competitiveness. Develop MU POF, Drive and Support Local projects
2) DC Steering - Management of multiple warehouses, complex distribution footprint, long lead times, erratic buying patterns and conflicting KPI’s. Ensuring the timely, cost and service optimized Logistics services in compliance with required standards, regulations and global guidelines
3) Customer Relations - Establish Supply Chain concepts to efficiently and cost effectively manage the various customer servicing relationships in the MU .
4) Stakeholder Management - Liaise with functional stakeholders to ensure effective matrix management of business critical activities.
5) Regional/ MU S&OP Processes - Ensuring constant supply planning of finished goods based on MLU forecasts and acting as interface between MU Countries, their customers and Production Centers (PCs)/other Hubs for all logistics related processes.
6) Organization and Processes - Monitoring the effective and efficient further development of all processes as well as the structure of the Supply Chain Function.
7) Leadership - Guiding, motivating and developing the subordinated staff and teams. High focus on developing key talent in the business

1) Knowledge - Masters Level tertiary commercial qualification
2) Skills - Leadership people focused and Analytical
3) Experience - 12 years Management experience in Supply Chain and General Management. International experience and context
