Your Tasks
We are looking for Demand Analyst for European markets to join the newly established regional Planning Center of Excellence for Europe, located in Poznan. It is a new planning concept at Beiersdorf, which is in the implementation stage and it will require the ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Ownership of the Statistical Baseline Forecasting for all standard products with the sufficient actual sales history ( including sell out data) to generate the most accurate statistics
- Insights generation and data driven decision support for better Forecast Accuracy achievement
- Utilize the latest AI & machine learning baseline forecasting methods and optimal forecasting models and parameters for each product / category/ market to build unbiased and accurate demand plan
- Control of sales history cleaning process in a cooperation with Demand Planners in Europe
- Maintenance of the relevant planning master data

Your Profile
- University degree ( minimum Bachelor) in Data Administration, Statistics, Analytics or Economics
- min. 2 years of experience in Sales Forecasting or Business Analytics area, preferably in the FMCG industry
- very good knowledge of English (spoken and written), ability to communicate efficiently with all levels of management and peers across Europe
- advanced knowledge of Excel, optionally VBA or Power BI
- SAP or OMP system knowledge welcome - the APO module will be an additional advantage
- excellent analytical skills
- very good communication skills
