Your Tasks

As National Account Manager, you play a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth and maintaining a strong, long-term relationships with multiple strategic partners in the Netherlands. Your primary focus will be on maximizing sales opportunities and ensuring the achievement - and even surpassing - of topline objectives, including Net Sales (NS) and market share (VMS), for both our Cosmetics and Health Care categories. This position is not only about delivering immediate results but also about creating a foundation for sustainable success in the short and long term. By leveraging your strategic insight and collaborative approach, you will help shape and execute joint plans that align with Beiersdorf’s mission to lead the market with innovative and trusted skincare solutions.

  • Customer Strategy: Build and expand customer relationships by deeply understanding their needs and requirements, delivering tailored solutions aligned with Beiersdorf’s sales strategy.
  • Business Planning, Budgeting, and Reporting: Develop and execute Sales and Customer Marketing plans - long-term, annual, medium - to ensure excellent delivery of brand, category and customer objectives at the customer. Report accurately, propose proactively and implement effectively counter measures when needed,
  • Annual Negotiations based on Pay for Performance principle: Implement agreed list price to ensure delivery of profit targets in consultation with Finance. Implement and control the customer TTC system in line with the Sales strategy.
  • Promotions and Point-of-Sale Execution: Prepare and implement the customer promotion plan and deliver agreed objectives for product distribution and display at POS. In charge of online merchandising at e-retailers.
  • Customer Relationships: Foster strategic business relationships with customers. Develop and execute action plans to achieve targets.
  • Market Challenges: Identify and leverage growth opportunities with fast-paced changing retailer/shopper dynamics.
  • Stakeholder Management: Execute commercial strategies in line with global and European guidelines while focus on skin care, turnaround and growth categories.
  • People management: Lead and develop one direct report (Account Specialist), fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and high performance,
  • Cultural Leadership: Inspire through open communication, prioritization, team work and leveraging market advancements to stay ahead of industry trends.

Your Profile

•    University Master's Degree.
•    5+ years of experience in commercial roles, preferably within the Dutch market.
•    Experience in general Sales (negotiation, customer management) required.
•    Experience in S&CM (Catman, RGM) preferred.
•    Fluent in Dutch and English.
•    Strong analytical skills.
•    Strong customer orientation with the ability to build credible relationships and negotiate effectively.
•    Strategic, creative, entrepreneurial and courageous thinker.
•    Pragmatic mindset with simplicity in communication and execution.
•    High energy and positivity, grounded in a sincere and authentic personality
