Your Tasks

You are passionate about initiating collaborative projects with external partners from academia and industry and about translating newest scientific findings into consumer-oriented skin care concepts and products? Join our ”Life Science Strategy and Outcubation” team to strengthen our expertise in life sciences and to identify superior scientific approaches in skin care!

  • You will bring in and monitor the latest life science knowledge and deduce innovative opportunities and intervention strategies to identify & qualify cosmetically relevant skin applications
  • You will substantially expand our external network to academic and industrial research institutions and start-ups.
  • You will initiate together with external partners innovative research projects and steer them through all project phases (milestone measures).
  • You will design and monitor key experiments to validate or devaluate intervention strategies at the earliest possible stage.
  • You will be responsible for a balanced project portfolio, which requires stakeholder-oriented internal and external communication.
  • You will share your enthusiasm for innovative skin research with others and present your findings and ideas to diverse target groups.

This position is temporary initially for two years .

Your Profile

  • Degree in natural sciences, accompanied by a PhD; postdoctoral experience is an advantage
  • Outstanding expertise in life sciences, preferably with a focus on skin biology, knowledge of relevant leading-edge methods as well as hands-on experimental expertise
  • A curious mindset, entrepreneurial thinking and good innovation sourcing skills
  • Engaging confidence, genuine interest in collaborative networking and effective negotiation skills
  • A successful track record in setting up and managing complex innovation projects
  • Experience in evaluating and writing patents would be an advantage.
  • A high level of flexibility, a proactive and self-driven mindset, and a strong ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Readiness and enthusiasm for traveling for work
  • Fluency in both English and German preferred
