Packaging Compliance Specialist (all genders)

In our team, you will ensure marketability with regard to the regulatory requirements of our packaging portfolio in cooperation with the various international interfaces.

Your Tasks

  • Work on future readiness of packaging compliance documentation, cross-functional with global Packaging Development team.

  • Monitor and track global emerging legislation on packaging, EPR schemes and Plastic tax in interaction with international network.

  • Support impact assessment of emerging packaging regulations on Beiersdorf's packaging portfolio and the respective data preparation.

  • Work within an internal cross-functional network of colleagues from Packaging Development, Legal, Marketing and Supply Chain functions to ensure compliant implementation of upcoming Packaging Regulations.

  • Take part in the digitalization of packaging regulatory issue management.

Your Profile

  • Completed Bachelor in Packaging Engineering, Material Science, or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.

  • Strong interest in local and global packaging regulations and the affinity to regulatory ways of working.

  • Experience and interest in working with (packaging) data & digitalization, including SAP, Power BI and other databases (e.g. Siemens, IBM).

  • You enjoy working in cross – functional teams and have strong communication skills.

  • Excellent command of English verbally and in writing is a must.
