(Senior) Global Consumer Intelligence Manager NIVEA (all genders)

Your Tasks

  • Leadership of key method of Communication Early Stage & Testing, responsible to ensure that both method approach, KPIs, hurdles and suppliers remain up-to-date and aligned to business needs for maximum impact on driving successful campaigns for our innovations.
  • Business partner of the international marketing (BLU) in answering consumer oriented questions in the innovation process as well as for all elements of the marketing mix – responsible for one or more NIVEA categories.
  • Embrace (digital) consumer centricity: actively fueling the business with consumer insights; drive usage of new tools, esp. technology enabled market research methods.
  • Evaluation, implementation and continuous optimization of forward-looking, in particular technology enabled/new digital market research methods and tools, by actively screening trends around market research, data and technologies and prioritizing, managing & assessing pilots.
  • Active transfer of consumer knowledge/insights throughout the organization by connecting generated data & insights across categories & methods
  • Conception, steering and quality control of respective ad-hoc market research projects briefed by stakeholders.
  • Consulting of internal partners in the interpretation and evaluation of research results and in the implementation of the study finding into concrete, actionable and business-oriented recommendations and decisions.
  • Close cooperation and regular exchange with local, regional and global CMI (consumer, market, insights) functions.

Your Profile

  • University degree Business Administration or Socio-Economics
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience & proven track in the field of market research incl. methodologies and steering of market research projects in FMCG industry; experience in research agency is a plus.
  • Solid Knowledge of how Communication works and how it can drive brand growth through both short and long-term goals.
  • Local market and consumer expertise required, x-functional experience preferred.
  • Highly experienced in diverse market research methodologies and proven use of a future-proof repertoire of research tools.
  • Digital Mindset and experience with new digital market research tools is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills, especially in the transfer of research results into actionable marketing decision.
  • Excellent presentation skills and persuasion power.
  • Positive mindset and can-do attitude, open 2-way communication with management team.
  • Strong & reliable partner on taskforce / strategic projects, openly shares ideas & opinions.
  • Actively seeks opportunities for exposure, experience & learning e.g. X-functional projects or tasks.
  • Displays an open attitude towards giving and receiving feedback & makes active effort to close development gaps.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Passion for the consumer perspective and topics around skin care and beauty
  • Creative, curious, open to try new things with a test & learn mindset.
