Your Tasks

The Business Analyst role aims to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the CoE Planning by providing essential data, analytical tools, and insights. This position involves expertise in applying analytical tools to Self-Service data and local data, combining technical knowledge with planning domain processes and data know-how. The analyst ensures high-quality master data, particularly planning data, within the system and is the expert and knowledge keeper regarding data. They drive continuous improvement of data quality, develop tools, and establish KPIs to monitor and enhance data quality.

Day one:

  • Provide fine-tuned analytical BI tools to the CoE, adjusting global governed self-service data and integrating local data and structures.
  • Utilize expert knowledge of various datasets to generate data overviews supporting business decisions (e.g., assortment complexity, LOM, inventory analysis).
  • Support the local team in data and analytics requests, multiplying learnings within the team.
  • Propose and improve data quality KPIs.
  • Serve as the regional knowledge keeper of parameterization of planning master data (Power user of Data Genie).
  • Continuously improve planning master data quality by monitoring data quality and health and initiating improvement activities.
  • Maintain dashboards, reports, and datasets owned by the region in the Beiersdorf Data Catalog.
  • Guide the regional planning organization to analytical tools and data, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

Midterm:

  • Conduct data processing, analysis, and visualization; evaluate use cases for savings, workload reduction, etc.; and provide data-based recommendations.
  • Roll out global best practices, learnings, and solutions, while fostering local and regional solutions for global leverage.
  • Identify and develop further analytic use cases in the CoE; shape use cases into MVP approach, collaborate with Global Planning Analysts for high-level design and estimates, and bring into a qualified backlog.
  • Shape and fine-tune decision automation rules and algorithms.
  • Administer IOP roles (govern governance policies) and perform initial high-level checks on inventory optimization base results.
  • Offer data consulting to business analysts and NIPs.
  • Serve as Integration Key user towards OMP and BSS.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, MIS or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with BI tools and data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, advance in excel, power query, power automate, Microsoft access). SAP / OMP knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with data processing, analysis, and visualization techniques.
  • Familiarity with supply chain planning processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of master data management and data quality improvement practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proven strengths in teamplay within a diverse setting of cultures.
