Brand Manager, NIVEA (Body Care)

About us

Our Marketing team is seeking a dynamic individual who will challenge the status quo and guide us in achieving first class value creation, build trust with colleagues and partners, simplify our business processes, drive growth and fight for our share. The scope of this position is national.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop mid-term and long-term strategic plans for NIVEA Body Care (Body Care, All Purpose Creams, and Hand).
  • Execute annual product marketing plans to achieve share, volume and profit objectives (which includes leading the go-to-market process for new product launches, pricing, advertising and media planning, trade and consumer programs including sampling)
  • Develop and implement new product launches in collaboration with international marketing teams.
  • In collaboration with the media team and agency partners, plan, execute and monitor national media campaigns including digital/TVC/ influencer/PR/ and social media strategy.
  • Create financial and manufacturing planning forecasts.
  • Maintain and optimize marketing budget spending / ROI
  • Conduct various analyses (i.e., category, ad-hoc market research, program evaluation for ROI, etc.)
  • Control and monitor the development of sales, profit and market share vs. the annual business plan.
  • Proactively monitor, analyze and optimize marketing programs, competitive information, market trends, customer needs, professional communication and product performance in order to increase efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Develop and deliver various presentations for management, sales organization and trade customers, updating all decision-makers on the progress and status of product marketing plans
  • Lead and collaborate with multi-organizational business teams

Your Profile

  • B. Comm. in Marketing
  • 3-5 years of brand management experience in a consumer goods environment
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, combined with strong financial and analytical skills to provide key takeaways and recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate others
  • Must be results-oriented, proactive, and organized with strong project management capabilities in a collaborative environment
  • Solutions-oriented, takes initiative and has an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Must be a team player, supporting and contributing to the broader business as necessary
  • Bilingual English and French ideal
  • Proficient knowledge and use of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ideally proficient in Nielsen
