Our Global Procurement Marketing team is a very cosmopolitan and diverse team of around 37 people, with colleagues from over 10 nations, speaking more than 14 different languages. We are passionate in what we do, approach projects from a very entrepreneurial angle and are therefore seen as business partners on eye-level by our internal stakeholders. Our team is globally as well as strategically responsible for diverse Marketing categories, like Media, Digital, Marketing Research as well as Creative Content & Brand Identity.

 

We will give you the opportunity to gain an insight into strategic marketing procurement processes and you will be an active part of our projects. A close collaboration with all Global and Regional Category Managers and partly with our Marketing colleagues for support of strategic and operational procurement topics will be necessary. This position requires an average of 18 hours per week over a period of one year - flexibility to balance studies and work is of course possible and to be discussed in advance.

Your Tasks

  • Support in various Procurement activities, e.g. tender processes, negotiations, bid and supplier evaluations, contract management
  • Cross-functional and international collaboration with relevant partners in Marketing regarding demand planning and supplier management
  • Working with IT systems relevant to purchasing (SAP, SRM, Ariba etc.)
  • Analyzing supplier and spend portfolios, cost assessments to support decision-making, preparing documentation and results presentations
  • Preparation of regular as well as ad-hoc reports on key performance indicators, savings and special requirements

Your Profile

  • Advanced studies in any digital and or marketing field, business administration or similar, ideally with a focus on digital marketing or procurement as well as supply chain management
  • Regularly registered in university during the entire working student activity
  • Initial experience through internships or working student activities in procurement, controlling or supply chain management advantageous
  • Interest in procurement or digital marketing within the fast-moving consumer goods industry
  • Skilled and confident handling of MS Office Tools (proficient in Excel is a must, Power Point a plus)
  • Proactive and curious attitude, interested in learning new things
  • Ability to analyze complex topics and processes, independent and structured approach to work
  • Very good communication skills: strong English (fluent in written and spoken) is a must and possibly also in German
  • Interest in working in international environments and culture

YOUR SALARY

Curious about your salary? Your work at Beiersdorf will be fairly remunerated, both with a voluntary internship and with a compulsory internship you earn 2.025 € per month. For a working student activity, our salary is 19,39€ per hour.
